Justin Rose – Best England Golfer

Justin Rose is a professional golfer from England who is a member of the two most prestigious golf Tours in the world, the European Tour and the US PGA Tour. Rose spends most of the year playing on the US PGA Tour but he does play in some of the bigger vents of the European Tour in order to keep his membership valid.

The South African born golfer made history when he won his first and only major in 2013, the US Open as he became the first Englishman since the legendary Nick Faldo to win a major title since 1996 as well as the first English golfer to win the US Open since Tony Jacklin achieved that feat in 1970.

Hailing from Johannesburg in South Africa originally, Justin Rose came into the limelight for the first time during the Open Championship of 1998 where he put in a brilliant display to finish tied for fourth as an amateur.

In 2007, Rose went on to win the Order of Merit of the European Tour and was ranked inside the top ten of the Official Golf World Rankings for 34 straight weeks between November 2007 and July 2008. He won his first ever World Golf Championship event in March 2012 when he secured the World Golf Championship – Cadillac Championship, re-entering the top ten again.

After finishing a very close second to Tiger Woods in the Arnold Palmer Invitational in 2013, Justin Rose a career high ranking of number three according to the Official Golf World Rankings.

He made his debut as a professional in late 1998 and joined the European Tour the following year and became a member of the US PGA Tour in 2003. He has six titles on the US PGA Tour and another seven on the European Tour.
